    Camping at Maroon dam

    well i know you think that there is know camping at Maroon but there is no one knows about it jst go to the site and find out all the information or there is a house you can stay at what you like Pointro Camp Ground
    24km S of Boonah, Maroon Dam Australia, 07-5463-6209

    Hi, what sort of camping.. Campers trailers or just tents, is there toilets and is it camping on the waters edge? cheers if you can answer any of these. And go to which site web site or at the dam?

      hey stevo yeah mate prettty much on the waters edge and a boat ramp there two not the cament one just one striaght off the bank hot showers toilets use tents and u also can use this house that is they if youy dont wnat to camp its got evreything u need in the house cheers krause

              Sorry Goin_west I still haven't made it there yet, may not get down there till the new year.

                hey stevo

                went there during the week to only be dissapoited i have to say the camp site is ok but the lawn wasnt mowed and the toilets wernt clean and the care taker was never there

                  Thanks for the info Scotty, it's not great news though. I will still give it a go in the new year as I think the big fello in the red suit is dropping off a camper trailer, and Maroon's as good as any place to try it out.

                    well i didint mind as ive camped where there is no toilets at all it was just that i had me girl freind with me and the girls toilets were locked so she had to shower and go to the male toil;ets over all not a bad spot i will go back one day but if you plan to fish there fishin from the bank is not a good option as there is about 30mters of weed off the bank boat is the go
