How much sawdust - Smoking Fish

Hi Folks -

How much sawdust should I use ....

I did my first smoke today and although very nice I did notice that some of the sawdust had not burnt.... Is this because some of the juice from the cooking fish wet the chips....

Any smoking tips welcome

This is hard to give an amount but so you can get some sort of a Idea I hae a Nipper Kipper and it comes with a measure spoon and I use 1 of them so you could try 2 desert spoon full.
I find if it is to stong it will over power the taste and you may find that the your rear end may be working over time.

Just trial and error what I like may not suit you.

I throw a handful or so in mine. In this pic you can see some that isnt burnt as well. Doesnt seem to worry it though.
