Ok I need advice on where to take my family for easter, we don't need toilets or showers just somewhere to fish and have a camp fire. We live in Townsville and would like to camp north on the beach. Any ideas????
how far north? Noah Creek in Daintree NP is the most magical place i have camped in QLD sites #2 #3 #16 #17 are the best. If you go to Site #2 I built a bench from salvaged timber found on the beach. You can book on line or on the phone $4 a nite.
Caught a meter long barracuta in Noah creek. I have to scan the photo to post on here one day. Jacks, Barramundi and those big man eating lizards are all in the creek.
When fishing at night by the creek i had a fire going to keep the crocs away and mozzies down, no fires in the park...
