Sand Spears

We needed water when the water pump broke... Rather than carraying around 40 L to get us a few K's.

Here we are putting in the new one.

As you can see from the first one top of spear has handles that you use to screw into the sand and the second pic shows a couple of wings that are angled to make it easy to screw in.
In the first pic the garden hose attached to a tap this is where the water is pumped down to help sink the spear once it is down then you turn the tap off and put yellow hose on tube that it is on ( you use the yellow hose to suck water out of a bucket )

Thanks, managed to get a look at it today... Very Interesting... BUT at the $$ they sell for, it is going to be a hard sell... Then again, you never know.
