Hey all, Just trying to set myself up for some weeks away with the family and are wanting to buy some new poles and guy Ropes...
Do any of you have a secret place that sells them cheap? or do any of you have some you want to get rid of?
Wouldn't mind seeing some pics of how everyone sets up there camps for ideas also...

if you have time you'll offen see them at garage sales.watch for ones that advertise camping gear.I.ve picked up lots for a few buks.as for ropes its easy to make your own.either make woodden tensioners or buy the steel ones at camp shop.

Just make certain you buy heavy duty poles.
As for guy ropes, by bulk rope & make your own.
Cheaper than the shop ones and usually better quality.

A work mate found the disposal store opposite Strathpine shopping centre was a lot cheaper than the two big stores in the area

There is guy who sells camping gear (some seconds) at the Caboolture market. He is only there last sunday of each month. Great deals on new tents.
