keeping cool in summer
gday all,
just wondering if anyone has any better suggestions regarding keeping cool on exposed beaches in summer - the humble tarp is becoming hotter by the year! thanks heaps in advance.

A session of horizontal folk dancing with the bride then lay in the shade.
The sweat evaporating in the breeze will have a cooling affect

blaze may be able to suggest some exposed beaches that would solve the problem
bilge blowers use 12V, throw a lot of air are incredibly efficent on power as they use a different mechanism to move air compared to a fan. Basically, you only need to get to 2am - by then it'll be cool enough or you'll be tired enough to sleep.
Personally in summer we rise at 4am, fish hard to lunch or so, clean up, then beer and rum up to provide the sedatives until we do it alllllll again.
