which fridge/freezer??

I am finally on the market for a portable 3 way fridge/freezer. have looked at heaps of different brands but wanted to hear any suggestions on good ones and bad. have been looking closely at an "Explorer", any comments would be very helpful

i bought a chescold yesterday for 1,130 dollars its a 3 way suppost to be really good on gas,i plugged in to 240v and holy crap if gas is better than this im laughing it was freezing in the fridge section....the good news is to test it out i put it outside in the sun to do it and in 4 hours cold beer.

buy a chescold 50 lt u wont go wrong.

i agree go for a chescold mine is about 10 years old and freezes 2 litres of water overnight even in hot and humid NQ.

Wazza how did you go? I have one of the green poly chescold jobies and also an engle. The chescold can do everything the engle can do and more.

But they do use heaps of power and are not as 'turbo charged' at droping temperature as the engle.

Is the explorer a eutectic 3 way? there are differences in 3 ways that are worth noting before plonking the cash down.
