Hi all
Has anyone fitted trim tabs to their barcrusher 535c...I'm not sure if it's big enough to see any advantage but would like to take the lean out of the boat without having to rearrange all the time
Have been looking at the waketabs ones

I've fished a fair bit on a 615, and the tabs were certainly useful in levelling it. Come down leaning a bit to one side on them, and it's like hitting concrete.
Yeah mate you wouldnt be asking if you didnt think there was a problem to be fixed...any style of Trim tabs will give you the ability to adjust the trim of the boat to a comfortable level..I find them indespenable but particularly when the boat is leaning into the wind in a quartering sea.. ..BTW are you talikng about Zipwakes specifically..Mine are Bennett plate style tabs so I cant help you there but most say great things about the Zipwakes.....
Go for it mate..giving yourself the ability to perfectly trim your boat is essential to get the best performance and comfort I reckon...
Thanks guys, yes I'm talking about zipwakes sorry
Great, the guy installing them was worried as it has a narrow beam (2.0) that I'd see minimal improvements
Let us know how it goes once you get back out on the water..
Trim tabs are an absolute must on any barcrusher ....... IMHO t should be part of the standard equipment .
Barcrushers are that unstable that just someone moving just a couple of feet can upset the balance give the boat a lean
Chris
Give a man a fish & he will eat for a day !
Teach him how to fish
& he will sit in a boat - & drink beer all day!

Once you have had trim tabs you will never want to own a boat without them again. Zipwakes are nice, the only negative about them is having to constantly correct course when they are active.
