    Dead fish Brisbane River

    Hi all

    I noticed quite a few dead fish in the river near the Eagle St ferry terminal, Customs House and HSW.

    Is this from the recent rains and influx of freshwater?

    Only a few mullet no big fish kill you must expect some when you get a lot of rain it takes the oxygen out of the water.

    The ABC article in my reply showed dead mud crabs and flathead. I also saw some small bream and either catfish or putty nosed perch.
