    Damn Starfish in PPB

Was out fishing in PPB the other day…

Damn starfish ravaged my baits and continually snagged me - losing my terminal tackle.

How can I avoid this menace and still have baits for fish?

I did move spots a few times and no change…

Don’t think I’ve ever had a starfish eat a bait. Thought they ate coral.

I pulled up around 10 x star fish and 5 x star fish legs during the session…

They also grab your bait and walk it to the nearest rock ledge and then snag you…😩😩

Time to find some starfish free fishing grounds.

Yep. Agree. Anyone know what type of ground and feeding patterns these starfish prefer - so that I can reduce likelihood of catching these things?

You pulled a leg off a starfish that took your bait and walked it to a snag? Starfish walk at like 2 NM a week...
I used to snorkel and grab one or two when they were in residence off Moreton to entertain the family .
How can you pull a leg off a starfish without pliers and a lack of empathy?
