    Cyclone Jasper

Looks like a monster of a cyclone on the Earth wind map ,there might be some unwanted boat stacking around the place if it rebuilds as it comes closer to the coast I think Disorderly might be busy lashing things down like many others up that way it will knock the fishing around for awhile ,there saying from Townsville to Cooktown so that’s a fair area ,keep safe up there.

Just looking at the seebreeze for Wednesday...looks to be a nice weather window in the eye during the morning...might go for a quick zip out the reef..only need 5 minutes to bag out on on Spanish these days...

Should be all good if I keep within the eye on the return trip...

Looking outside today, you wouldn't even know there's a cyclone coming.

Hoping the fishing gets better following it, looking forward to getting out a bit.

Looks like the only boating happening today is to the Pub..

Getting mighty wet outside and the raingauge ran over during the night..closest BOM gauge up the road says 496mm in the past 24hrs after 4 previous days of non-stop rain....pretty wet up towards Cairns as well..

Despite being really far south of Jasper we still have some trees down.....the joys of living in the tropics.

Corry, seabreeze forecast looking good from wednesday onward..hopefully the rain stops and I can get on top of things around here and take advantage of some hungry fish..

Wind is looking horrible for Cairns for a while. I'm off for 3 weeks after tomorrow, so planning on doing as much on water stuff as I can, whether that's big boat and reef or little boat and estuary. The fresh should help push some muddies out, and might find a prawn around here and there. Either way, I'm gunna be doing something.
    Cheers
