    To early for Mackeral?

    Morning guys,
taking a mental health day for myself tomorrow and putting in the Jetski out off Ballina. Water temp is not at the 24 degrees I have been told which is the ideal temp for the Mackerel, but is it worth trolling a few dead baits around anyway.? Looking forward to having a day to myself on the water!

Not sure how it works down your way, but we got on to some good Spaniards the other week at Lucinda, pity it was the closed season up here but

Was hoping for some Greys, but all we got was Spaniards.
    Cheers

A bad days fishing has got to be better than any day at work......

    No worries,
Mate sent me a photo of nice spottie caught off Brunswick Heads yesterday morning. Charts on bom show some warm water moving south over the next week. Looks promising...
