I am booked on the Spirit of Tasmania in early June. I'll spend about 3 weeks touring the west coast and southern areas of Tassie.
For those that know this area, you'll know it is not an easy place to drive.
Briefly head to Strahan and then north through the Henty Dunes... to small coastal towns and then the Climes Track.... eventually ending up at Marrawah.
I will also be doing the bitumen run down the guts to see the big ass dam ( Gordon River ) and further south to Cockle Creek and walk ( it's only 7k's ) to the southern most point in Australia.
I have been to Tassie many times, but not in my own car and not in a 4 x 4. The West Coast is a windy, remote and hostile place, but it is celebrated by it's scenery.
can't wait...............
