    spitfire boat trailers any good?

    A few bad reports when they started out.
    New models all new ADR compliant.
    Interested in the 4500kg ATM version. any reports?

    Yep I've had a AASS7000 dual axle for 5 years, 2,000kg setup for a 6m plate boat. All working fine, only done the usual replacement of bearings and skim the brake discs. It will flex when empty, but happy with a low maintenance trailer.

    They look ok to me design wise and material wise.
    The only thing I would choose to be different is go to leaf springs instead of tortion suspension...they fail from the inside out with rust you can not detect before failure.
    That plus a boat latch.
