Reset distance traveled hds7 gen 3

Hi guys this is a lowrance Hds7 gen 3 , I have managed to find a distance travelled screen add on but I can’t get it to go back to Zero . Can anyone possibly help without having to reset the unit please . Matt

Matt, I think you need to use trip calculator and not the distance travelled. when last I looked but from memory it only lasts for the date you set it, I think once you switch the unit off it also disappears.
Unfortunately i won't be able to check it out on my HDS Live till Thursday afternoon. I might be able to get to it tomorrow sometime if I'm lucky.

Thanks I found it in trip calculator as you said , I’m use to my old furuno which was pretty much set and forget . This thing is like flying a plane it has so many different features a lot of which I have now turned of but it seems good so far , the transducer is just about right now as well I can read at 35kph . Side scan , down scan, chirp high ,chirp low , and god only knows what else but I’m getting there watching heaps of lowrance stuff on this unit on you tube so starting to get my head around it . Matt, look for any youtube by Barry Stokes, he covers topics well, some guys talk at 100 kph and aren't very good at showing you the screen.

Nah turned it of a week ago and turned it on to mess with some settings on Saturday at home
