Any baitcast gurus have experience of 13Fishing ENVY Black rods? Also what would be the effect of taking the top 9cm (at the last runner) off a 6'10" baitcast rod?

Any baitcast gurus have experience of 13Fishing ENVY Black rods? Also what would be the effect of taking the top 9cm (at the last runner) off a 6'10" baitcast rod?

Don’t buy a 6”10 rod and cut the top off just buy a 6”6 rod by cutting it off it won’t cast or feel the same if you were building from a rod blank you would cut that off at the butt.
