Just fitted a New Garmin UHD2 on my Tinny. Tried pairing my phone Active Captain to the Plotter but plotter cant lock onto Wi Fi ??. What could i be doing wrong ?.
Followed Yayatube Vids recomended by Garmin.
The wifi function in the sounder has a on off setting
Select Settings > Communications > Wireless Devices > Wi-Fi Network > Wi-Fi > On > OK. · If necessary, enter a name for this wireless network. · Enter a password.
does the wifi show as on in the sounder ?
some times you have to turn mobile data off and cycle wifi on and off on the mobile to pick up active captain
Nah had to reset Name n Password to pair.
Then it wouldnt/Couldnt log onto garmin for any updates so had to download updates via PC.
Now just need to see if plotter will accept them.
Then just need to upload old garmin waypoints 🤔
