I haven’t worried about camping in the lagoon, anytime I have been there I just move in close and anchor there for the night. It’s usually bearable if the swell isn’t too northerly.

hey mate, tried to pm but inbox is full. Didn’t end up launching the boat there myself, weather was shocking all week, the lagoon looks like you’ll have good access at any tide. I was hoping to get out and give you my gps track. Was also going to put the drone up but it was too windy. No access from Rainbow Beach at the moment only through freshwater and up so it’s pretty quiet there at the moment
Cobbo, last year the marine people put a yellow flashing bouy at the end of the spit, looking at Trackers photo it doesn't appear to be there anymore, was it only a temporary measure?
