Corrosion fix
I've got some corrosion in my qunnie due to having a reaction to the stainless steel screws which I'm currently fixing by putting Tef gel on everything. What's the process involved to clean it up and respray? I was thinking wet sand or dry not to sure what grit to use, undercoat then spray

Re: Corrosion fix
If you are using some kind of sander (orbital or disc) I found that 180 / 240 does the job then you can finish up with 600 .
Just make sure you use a compatible paint
You can buy rattle cans from an auto paint shop ....... The primer / filler that I found really good is "Transtar 4603" - great adhesion

Re: Corrosion fix
Aluminium, you need the surface perfectly clean, then etch primer, a suitable under coat then a top coat, don't use cheap spray cans, buy decent ones! The "real" Quintrex/Stacer spray cans are great, but, not cheap, and probably some others would be fine too.
