Was talking to someone about the amount of boats parked on the grass along the road there and they said that there was a 45 minute wait to launch over xmass and the council was fining everyone parked along the road on the grass so I’m gathering if there’s no car and trailer parks at the boat ramp then you can’t launch your boat and go fishing you just go home or park out along the road and risk getting finded because there’s not enough parking areas.
So launching your boat in holiday season will become a booked event soon as I see it.
This happens every public holiday there....purely revenue raising and lack of infrastructure / population.
I use the smaller ramps almost exclusively these days.

Well everyone knows that the rec boating in southeast Qld has risen 3 fold so should the amount of boat ramps and carparks you would think there would be smart person in the transport department that would have a good idea to link boat registration to facilities needs to keep things up to speed so boaters don’t get a fine for not having a trailer car park .
One of the sad signs of our times is that we have demonized those who produce, subsidized those who refuse to produce and canonized those who complain.

LOL...if that were the case we'd have the best and safest roads in the world. They'd make Autobahns look like goat tracks.

Ramps used to have more parking in Brisbane 5 years ago. Then, they converted a third into shared parking.
