I'm chasing some information about this boat if possible. It's registered as a 1993 Blackfin 29 which is currently powered by a Volvo Penta AD41P-A. I believe it was built by Nick Jackson on the Gold Coast but i can't be certain.
I'm trying to find out the history of these boats and if anyone can tell me how i can find the maximum HP rating that was originally specified by the builder. The boat currently cruises on about 16 knots using anywhere between 18 to 21 litres of diesel per hour and i looking at upgrading the engine but was wondering how i can find the maximum rated HP. If anyone can provide some information or history on these boats or any other details it would be greatly appreciated. thanks
