I got up early this morning and took my daughters dog for a walk although if it keeps wanting to dig up my garden it may be returned to her sooner than later. Anyway, he loves the water so we went down to Diamond Head to throw a toy for him to fetch in the water when I spied something in the water. On closer inspection is was a yabbie pump and in better condition than mine. As with mine the washer had perished and I suspect that the owner hadn't used it in a while and probably got frustrated and tossed it in the water with a few choice words. So while I am inspecting this nice find I espy on the sand around the same area an insulated wine mug and a beer can and a couple of lollie wrappers so I am assuming the couple that were trying to pump yabbies had a tissy fit and managed to leave/lose a couple of nice items for me to cherish.

Oh well, the year has started off with a small win for me. Happy New year all, and please make it a safe one.


Edit: There was a name on the mug so if one of the members can tell me the name I'll return both items gladly, and the pump will have a new washer.
