Depending on the rod you match it to I think it would make a very good reel to use for flathead , snag fishing for bass / bream where you might want 10lb-15lb braid ...... shallow water placcy fishing for snapper , you could use it for casting / skipping lures / placcies for jacks
For such a small reel it holds a fair bit of braid - 190 M of PE 1 - so depending on the line you use the reel has potential .
Varivas Avani PE1 = 20.2lb
Majorcraft Dangan PE 0.8 = 16lb
I just put the reel on my Samurai reaction 302 6-12 lb 7ft (fast action) ....... noice - that's where the reel will live & I'll go a 4000 for the Millerod pitch .

Re: Daiwa spin reel sizes
Has it got a 45 mm spool? that’s the LT 2500 spool size, 48 mm for 3000 and 51mm for 4000, I’ve always used 2500 for bread and butter fishing and yer 3000 for light bay fishing, 10 kg of drag is a lot for a tiny reel but if it’s got it it should handle it .

Re: Daiwa spin reel sizes
your reel reminds me of the DAIWA FAUEGO LT 4000 CXH.
It amazes me that it recommends 12lb mono , but has a max drag of 26.4 lb
With 6.2:1 gear ratio this reel has the ability to spin up some decent size pelagics
I like DAIWA's LT SERIES
