How to stop anchor from coming up wrong

    Hi guys,
I know there is a thing out there to solve the problem but for the life of me I cant find it or what its called.

about half the time my anchor comes up to the sprite facing up instead of down. Basically, the anchor is 18 degrees to where it should be. My problem is that the anchor will not automatically deploy when I hit the down button on the winch and I have to climb up the from to give it a shove. Yes I have a working swivel.
Ive seen a discussion on this issue but cant find it. Any ideas?

What brand is it, with my Stressfree I need to hit the down button until at least 1m or more of chain is released before hitting the freefall button.

The 180° thing could be that the anchor is too light and you're running very heavy chain.
Pic of set up and breed of winch might give you a different response.

Sorry, misunderstood the 180° bit as I usually stop my retrieval when the anchor is half way between the waterline and the bowsprit. I have woven some coloured rope into the chain so that I know when to stop it and then slowly retrieve it the rest of the way and have never experienced the upside down anchor problem. For those that experience this is it related to a particular type of anchor, I usually use a danforth
