    GME mt600gps

I’ve been thinking about getting one of them but have read the test operation for the gps side of it and you only get 8 gps tests out of the unit , has anyone got one and how’s the gps testing going the new ones have a ten year battery life and I was thinking maybe you might not get your expected battery life if you do to many gps tests if they don’t pick up a signal .

So who’s got one and how are you going with the gps testing?????.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT over-test. GPS testing consumes additional batterypower. To conserve the battery the EPIRB will only allow a total of 12 GPStests during its lifetime.
    all I could find.

Thanks for that theres a lot of flashing codes in the gps one so yes you would only want to test is every 12 mths out in the open so you did not burn a test.
