Beginning of a new trailer mover one i can hopefully turn and carry easily
Gearbox is being made 1:125 ratio will be driven by a 1000watt 48volt DC scooter motor
The plan is to only run it at 400watts when im loading the boat up at 3-4am so its totally silent and ramp it up to 800-1000watts during my return and storing away the boat
This trailer mover will hopefully be the quietest i can build one, scooter motors tend to be quiet, my other mover will be a doner for the wheels
All drive equipment is 428 pitch chain and sprockets, axle and gearing shafts will be 20mm steel bar, Im going with a homemade trailer attachment over reusing a jockey wheel post the JWP are to thin about 3mm wall, the new trailer swivel pin will be made 30mm pin material very heavy duty stuff with aupper and lower swivel hole from 20mm flat bar or plate steel
Fyi my laptop took a dive a week ago lost 4 years of boat rebuilding pictures 1000's of pictures all gone many hundreds of unsceen pics all gone absolutely bummed
Can't help with the mover, I bought the mini mover Gen2 to help move stuff around the shed and it works a treat.
With losing your photos and files, suggest getting a Google account, or a OneDrive account and keep everything in the cloud, it's only around $120 for terabytes of data storage. Keeping stuff on your own drives now is a thing of the past, even backing up to multiple external hard drives isn't sensible.
