thanks gunna
very interesting
What has ever happened its a crying shame some good fish dead and a lot of stocking effort wasted with a few years to get it back to we’re it was.
That was an interesting read
For what it's worth....I have been on Wivenhoe Dam out from Heyman's Cove the past 3 Saturdays checking out old marks etc.
The first time 10/6..water temp was 17.2 out over the river bed.
A week later 17.3.
Last Saturday the same area was 17.7.
I thought there might have been warmer water coming down from Somerset that was warmer.
Maybe it's the turnover thing?
For those that are curious, before they closed the ramp at Heyman Cove, the depth of water over the river bed was 38' at a spot I had marked. It is now 94' at the same spot. Lots of bait in the shallow bays but fish are scarce......1 yb and 2 bass.
At least no catfish. Maybe big schools of boney bream.
Cheers
