Thanks mate!
Thanks mate!
We used a Wattyl product at the time--Clear Metal Seal?? It has a wonderful shelf life--I am still using a 4 litre tin left over from my last commercial boat, some 17 years ago! But doubtless something better has evolved since then.
Thanks
Just roll it on with a roller?
We used to brush it on. But the "roll and tip" technique would probably work really well, we didn't know about it back then. It is very thin, quick drying, you need to be careful with runs, only brush vertically, IIRC. I still use it for small ally fabrication jobs I do. I'll get the correct name when i go down the shed later on.
Give a man a fish & he will eat for a day !
Teach him how to fish
& he will sit in a boat - & drink beer all day!

BC have just re-confirmed with me that they only supply painted boats, which is a bit disappointing…
I must be the lucky one
