Yes I get the fact that you are on a budget ...... but seriously , ($0.05 of advice) you need to get into a habit of questioning ..... "why so cheap ?"

    Heck - even a Kickass charger will cost you $200 ..... any decent (known brand ) charger start at around $200 & go up from there ..... $300 , $400 , $500 - higher .

Well you haven’t charged them if they are not showing 100%
When the bulk charge is finished they are normally 90-95% charged then it trickles in the remainder at a much slower rate to protect the cells
Electric vehicles do this too as it’s a heat management cell preservation thing.

And look up your manual that came with the batteries as some don’t like being stored at 100 percent.
this is why you need a 25/30 ah charger so can top them up the day before you go for a fish

Lead acid/agm are way simpler to manage if your worried about them lasting.

I think the charger is a lead acid charger rebadged and i got dicked on the purchase, i have contacted the ebay seller for a refund

    A victron water proof 12v 10a charger is $200
worth saving for as also has a Bluetooth app and will show how many actual amps has been put into the battery
and via the app can select any battery type to charger

What are the specs on your batteries. They should have a nominated range, generally 20 to 40a for a 100ah battery, the bottom of the range i.e. 20a will give you the longest life out of the battery, the higher end will give you the quickest bulk charge before moving to absorption charge but at a slightly reduced life cycle. 10a is too low and will take way to long to charge it and then possibly not full 100%.
Buy the charger recommended for the specs provided.

Edit: i assumed rather stupidly that You bought 2 x 100ah batteries but dimly recall you were going for 2 x 50ah ones in which case 10a will suffice, but only if you're dealing with quality products.

Re: Anyone used these lifepo4 batteries?

Digs reccomended charge rate is 50amps, max charge rate is 80amps

Re: Anyone used these lifepo4 batteries?

Steve head should be well clear of the gunnel there is a stopper below the head than the bracket those combined are a good 22-25cm so the head should be 30cm above the gunnel
