Headed over to Moreton Island Saturday afternoon to look for a feed of Longtail and squid. One decent size squid was boated over near Tangalooma and we thought we were on. However after a long session no other squid were willing to play the game, so this squid was released later near Mud Island - a fair swim home, sorry buddy. there were plenty of tuna boils but they were small and flighty so we struggled to get a good shot at them. We got no Longtails but we did end up with some Macs (mac tuna) on light gear which was fun. Left Moreton Island around 4:30pm, had flick at Mud and scored a couple of undersized Snapper. Headed home on a glass out. Great afternoon to recharge the soul.
