    2001 455 Escape CV 60hp 4st vs 2013 420 Seaway 30hp 2st

I have NO idea about the specs of these 2 boats. As some know Im in NZ for a while, loving the snapper and kingies.

They 455 is in mint condition despite its age, has all the engine receipts etc, 60hp Yammy 4st. The Seaway is asking the same money, its a 2013 and has a 30hp Yam 2 st on the back.

The 455 is about $17kNZ, the 420seaway will probably sell for $14500.

Would you buy either of these? Do both of these hulls use plate bottoms and transoms?

I usually head out 3-10kms, just want something that will get back in unexpected slop. I fish and freedive, troll for all kinds troll live baits for kings, dead baits for snaps and hard lures over the worm beds for snaps etc.

Nothing is considered plate under 5mm and these would be 2 -2.5mm maybe 3mm pressed tinnies

i dont know the seaway but they are two different boats, that 60hp and extra 35cm makes it a lot more capable boat

tell us what type of fishing and conditions as you may not need the bigger boat.
of all the fishing ive done and seen in nz id be going bigger
