Lowrance TI2 transducer mounting rusting

Have a brand new Lowrance 9 TI2 used it for the first time for about 6 hours, when cleaning the boat noticed some stains on the transducer mounting plate (total scan transducer) near the mounting screws. Closer examination found the split washers showing signs of rust ??? used a magnet and it appears they seem to be mild steel not stainless like the bracket and screws. Lowrance website makes it impossible to contact anyone so back to the retailer, not a lot of help just suggesting where i could buy s/s washers. The price is not the issue its the fact that the supplied item is not fir for use ,
I have sourced replacements and this a heads up for anyone who has these units to check the fitment. The green thing is a small magnet showing the washers

have a 4.2 quinne here ,same transducer and all good.(about 18 months old)
they must have run out of ss ones!
