Nothing like doing it under your own steam though - IMHO

Give a man a fish & he will eat for a day !
    Teach him how to fish
& he will sit in a boat - & drink beer all day!

I've set myself a near impossible goal for 2022.

Find and catch a fish other than bloody flathead that the fussy wife will eat.

    Don't like my chances.

Think my goal will go the same way as my new years resolution. Not gonna happen.

Working up in Cooktown last year I saw a few different methods that work for some , one of the better setups had a 4.2 meter side console on trailer on the tray of a ram and towing a caravan ,he looked over the limit to me and he didn’t take it off for the week he was there . I’ve seen a lot carting them around on the roof but most seem to stay on the roof . Matt

Plenty of meterys out here in Copeton , a mate got one 105cm yesterday, but a lot of hard work now that it has risen, 96% atm.

I'm actually a little surprised that more people don't do the bigger planned trips - afterall the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence

I know I like to get away from Sydney for my fishing but most of all - it's about catching fish that we don't get down here ....... plus it is the adventure ( despite often the tribulations that go with it) .

Well 2022 has commenced with a bang, and not really a bang that I am happy about. Oh well got to keep the wife happy some times

Two days ago (Wednesday) I sold my beloved 2000 model Seafarer V-Sea 🤬🤬🤬 and bought a caravan. I suppose you can’t have everything all at once.

I will say I was ecstatic with price I got as it has a Johnson 115 hp two which everyone was telling was worth nothing and nobody wants two strokes

I bought this boat about seven years ago, and when I sold it I got $500 more than what I paid for it. How good is this Covid tax
