    rectifier

    hi all
    i am having trouble with charging the battery's again the rectifiers i am buying are not lasting or over charging can i use a motor bike one the motor is a 15 hp mercury japan mod which i believe is a tohatsu block
    scottar i think you can help me here i have lost the link you gave me

    39 if u use a motor bike regulator get one thats made in japan not china much better quality from japan

    but which one do i need i have only 2 wires coming from the fly wheel

    Voltage regulators have 2 input 2 output, some motor bike regulators have 5 wires, 3 input from the magneto 2 output to the battery

    So just get a 4 wire 12volt regulator

    Hi, This is what I installed and is running fine after a couple of trips. I am running a 30 hp jap mercury and the previous one was putting out 50-70 volts so was a little more then required
