Where to buy this type of Sand Anchor

Our 5.5m approx 1/2 cabin boat had a similar anchor to the item below ( B4 I lost it), the double shaft helps to ensure the anchor rolls in horizontally and tips of the anchor are well away from the V front of the boat when the electric winch pulls the anchor in.

Interested in buying a new anchor as per below but have not come across a supplier.

My replacement pick anchor with the prongs is not great in holding the boat against wind/waves. Other sand anchors do not have a wide V and/or only have a single shaft.

I have one similar on my Seafarer Vagabond that is great in sand too.

Have you checked Qld outlets to find what you want?

What about one of these for a try? It fits on the prongs of your pick anchor

What holds the middle shaft in place. Guys I used to fish with used the sand anchors as reef anchors, they would remove the small lugs that stopped the flukes from flipping then drill holes in the shaft and insert 3 inch nails instead one each side to stop the flukes lifting. To lift they would just run whichever retrieval system you preferred and if stuck the nails would bend and you end up with the flukes pointing away.

Thanks for the replies, will follow up Rodger re his Sandwedj,
Yes my Anchor would have been 35 years old when I lost it around 5 years ago, but with not a lot of use still looked great, I think the anchor in my post above has had a lot more use than mine.
also looked at the self align anchors as per below, but having no experience in the past am wary.

That style is more suited to mud but works well in sand also.

I still haven't figured out how your old anchor stayed together once dropped, as I have never seen one before.

Hi Re (I still haven't figured out how your old anchor stayed together once dropped, as I have never seen one before)

From memory that fitting 3/4 up the double supports at the rope end is a metal clip.

When the anchor is held under a rock, if you pull in the opposite direction, the clip loosens/lets go, and the anchor can be pulled out from under the rock, at the time of purchase it was quite expensive but to me it was an anchor savour ( twice).

This was B4 I understood that the alternative was to fasten the anchor rope/chain/SS chain Fitting to the bottom of the anchor and plastic tie the eye of the anchor to the chain etc.
