Garmin Striker Vivid 5CV transducer compatibility

Can anyone advise me please:
- I have a GT52HW-TM transducer that came with a Garmin Striker Plus 9 sv.
I have upgraded this transducer to a GT51M-TM but would like to know if the GT52HW-TM transducer that provides sidevu
can be used with a Striker Vivid 5CV unit? (in my tinny). Will this unit support sidevu with the correct transducer or does the software need to be upgraded?
The user manual allows the selection of this transducer but will it provide sidevu processing in the software?

I don't think the software in the 5 will have the ability to detect the GT52 due to it being a sideview transducer which is not supported by the 5 inch

I 99% sure it would come up with unsupported transducer connected

HAHAHA, The boat remains in my name.... hopefully I can get out in it more often now... just waiting for Lance to pull his finger out and retire also
