I think u can see here in these pics the paint stripper is only peeling that very top layer, the big stuff that is flaking off is only coming off with the pressure washer thats what i really need to get off down to the blue/green stuff

From the gunnel rubber up has all been coated with paint stripper

as Shaun is saying and your not listening too you don’t leave it to dry out
scratch it up apply wait 15 mins or so use a scraper then wash off
then do it again and again
On warm hot days you have to cover it to stop it evaporating the solvent too quickly

when the stripper evaporates like your doing the paint just hardens again

and in the end of paint stripper won’t work you have to mechanically remove it with files orbital sanders or whatever to remove it

The paint is easy to remove weather its been 1 hour or 48 hours since the gel was brushed on there is no problem there

That'll work if you use a poly wheel gently.
And the paint must be crap condition if it comes off after 48 hrs use stripper as once the stripper dries out the paint rehardens, even says so on the can but then I forgot who was doing the job.

Once you’ve applied a thick coat, cover it with cheap painters plastic gaz, as soon as it dries the slightest bit it stops working, give it half hour with plastic on it and most of it will pressure wash off quite easily

Seems to be a common comment but it seems Gazza is still going to do his own thing. I'm out of here.
