No doubts many of you are aware of crazy shortages of supply for..... just baout everything. though we have a shipment of Garmin stock coming tommorow . some of which dont have homes yet. Really is a first come first serve basis however, These will be the last GPSMAP systems untill late jan/feb 2022

Thanks mate. I am finally nearing the stage of electronics and wiring. Certainly will be in the market for two EVO 3s heads and other stuff. Drop me a line when you have a better idea.

Garmin must have had a few container loads arrive? I see on other platforms, 'the little shop in the middle of nowhere' has posted pictures of garmin units stacked to the ceiling.
Given shipping container freight costs and restricted air freight, I'm starting to suspect a lot of the stock shortages are more logistics issues than microchip supply issues.
yeah we had a small mountain of garmin stock arrive. a lot was pre sold or put aside for upcoming builds. Stock coming in wasnt too much of an issue with the amount we pre ordered. there was a large demand in the US. that killed a bit of supply for us. as well as freight and slowdown of production in thailand with covid/microchip shortages.. wasnt just one issue.. but things are slowly back on track.
