Just pricing roughly from Internet places, to build it in steel tube, which is by far the easiest, material would be about a grand, plus around $1,500 to galvanise (which will probably see me out anyway. Aluminium would be about double that I reckon, plus I don't have the facilities to weld it, my neighbour has told me he would do it for me at "mates rates" if I get it all together, still thinking.

I got my mudguards sorted today i had to move all 4 back 25-35mm i suck at welding up hill or down hill stick welding just kept welding shit house blowing holes in the 40x40x4 angle even at 50amps so i just ran a really nice bead along the top of each mudguard bracket i will mig the vertical later

I havent installed the fish finder yet really worried my dogs will chew the transducer as the transducer is huge

Seat still not bolted down either but im keen to get out for a fish

Boat was dry as to drive we only took one bit of splash she handled 1-1.3m swell easy peazy in a following swell she tracked straight over taking the swell no broaching at all, a big cruiser came in i over took him in his wake the boat felt very safe very smooth so predictable it was awesome

She cruises at 26kn, holds plane at 18kn

My cousibs caught 40 flatties between them i only got 3 but i caught 3 squid too

Feels awesome Ray all the sleepless nights wondering how it wouldpan out and if the engine would fall off i can say this boat is dead set solid nothing flexes or twist or moves the hull is super strong

Got some ink on the deck from the squid, had a minor hiccup with the engine but i think she just needed to be open up or we were running out of fuel will know soon

The minor hicup with the engine turns out i ran out of fuel, the engine was sucking the very last litres in the tank

Small piece of metal was found stuck in the tyre it must have been picked up in my driveway out on the street as i reversed in, quiet pissed thats a brand new tyre, $65 for another new tyre or $35 to put a tube in it, not happy
