    maloolaba pick/ breakaway anchor material

I've used a couple of large cable ties (work is a bottmless pit) in the past but I want something biodegradeable.

But now in an effort to not leave plastic all over the place I'd like to try some sisal rope or twine or something that will readilly break down. When I have used rope before I found it is tough to break

Does anyone have a good solution they are using?

    Copper wire works well

Bunnings has heavy sisal twine. I use it often where, as with yourself, one might use plastic.
Funny how we forget the simple things in the tech age - there was always a ball of string in the kitchen drawer when I was kid.

Copper wire is what I've always used. Sisal twine breaks down very quickly - about a year in the garden holding trellis together.
