Great Trout Session off Seaforth

Did a run out with the neighbour the other weekend, hadn't really had much luck with the trout before, but the good ole 'Neighbro' put us onto the spots.
Weather was fantastically calm, headed out early so we were at 'spot x' by sun up. Tried a couple of spots before finding the fish. I'm sure the Neighbro was hoping to get some fish and it not just be a good day boating

First spot seen a donut, second spot seen a trout come up, then we hit the mother load. What a great hour an a half, one after the other, with us even throwing some big ones back at the end while trying to target other species. Was great banter on the boat too as we were going one for one of about equal size each time.

Looking forward to getting out again that's for sure.

How far did you have to travel out to get them..?

Not far mate, only about 40klms. Was one of those postcard days too
