Anyone fished in a caribbean 2400?

Have been looking around at various options for new boats and one thats pretty high on the list is a 2400 caribbean that comes from the factory set up for twin 200hp yamahas.
However, years ago we had a bertram 28 with twin sterndrives that we ended up selling because it rolled too much. Most of our fishing offshore is on the drift so stability at rest is important. My current 6m AMM is more stable at rest than my bertram 28 was.

Therefore, im still reluctant about the caribbean (basically a bertram 23) and how much its going to roll offshore

Has anyone ever fished out of a 2400? What are they like while drifting offshore in a good 15kn breeze?

We built the infamous challenger boat 3 years ago . being a 2400 with twin merc 150s at the time. i then had the chance to fish offshore in Eden up and down the coast for marlin later that year and i still rate them extremely solid offshore boats. they may be dated in some of the outfittings compared to US boats. but they are like your nannas couch. build solid.. a bit old fashioned but super comfy

i also crossed port phillip bay a fair few times in it , with the typical "from every direciton at once" PPB chop and slap. and i just sat the autopilot on and watched netflix the whole way across

Ranmar's boat is a 6.4 Reef Runner not the 2400. He would be still good to have a chat with about Caribbean boats.

The Caribbean 2400 is good chunk beamier than the Bertram 23, I'm pretty sure it's closer to the Bertram 25. No doubt derived from those hulls though, so likely to have similar behaviour on the water.

aye, the 2300 is 2.5 wide with a 2.3 transom, the 2400 is 2.7 wide with a 2.4 transom
that extra 20mm does make for a more roomier comfier boat in long range fishing, as well as a considerably more stable platform at rest.
