North Pine Dam Yesterday

Ok , done the Bay , Offshore and now a Fresh Water report .
Fished North Pine Dam yesterday with my friend Ray .
Lots of people on the dam for a mid week day.
Started off very slowly , but we managed to find a few bass to get the tally rolling , they quickly went off the bite and we did a lot of moving to relocate the fish , a friend of Rays called us over to a hot bite about 100m from where we were and we then got a few more fish before having to pull up stumps and headed back in early. Final tally by memory was 35 odd Bass , 6 Yellowbelly and a Tandan.Had much better days at NPD but still , as usual a very enjoyable morning on the water.

Great fishery the north pine ,I was one of the first 50 when the permit system was introduced and double digit catches where the norm especially with fresh water prawns . We used to fish a ledge from the road in until they put the gate up ,great to see it’s still producing even caught a lung fish on a purple and black nilmaster . Thanks for the report
