I have a 4/0 same as yours except for the double dogs. Really like the narrow. Should be very comfy to fish in hand all day.

I used to enjoy messing around with reels, doing all sorts of modifications, unfortunately I don't have access to the equipment now, but I still do quite a few repairs, it is good fun.

My Tib framed 113h is stock width ,so it gets used for trolling. If I had the narrow, I would spool it with 65 braid and use it for pulling stubborn critters off the bottom. I think it would be the ultimate for this.

Speaking of Jigmasters and narrow PENNS, I am quite narrow minded myself. One of my favourites is my 259 Long Beach that I narrowed to 501 width. I used the spool, bars, and the stand off a 501
I also narrowed a 155 to 180 dimensions. Just like the feel of a narrow reel.
