AM/FM aerial.

I am just in the process of building a new side console for the tinny and will be installing a am/fm radio. Its only a 4 m boat and don't want a high aerial getting in the road of fishing and also has a fold up canopy and a long aerial would cause to much pain.

Don't go far in the tinny so don't need any great range. Had a goggle search and only come up with 6ft/8ft units. Anyone know where I may get a short unit suitable for marine use.

GME do a 4 foot removable whip - AE364B - plus the base of your choice. They also have ground dependant antennas but I'm not a fan. Pacific antennas make some short ones - http://pacificaerials.co.nz/marine/a...o-range/p6107/ - might be an order in though.
