Red & Silver does look pretty sexy

They were a bloody good reel - pretty heavy compared to todays ones

Without any doubt - Daiwa do produce outstanding looking reels ….. & some of the tricked up models are nearly to nice to take out of a display case

Yeah it is heavy compared to the new model but I won’t be upgrading as this thing is bullet proof and has caught me heaps of fish up to now ,it seems a little industrial in comparison to the new model but it does a great job on my Egrell s10

This year’s Saltiga has changed from blue to black/gold. Very Stella like. I must say I’m not a fan of the new look.

This year’s Saltiga has changed from blue to black/gold. Very Stella like. I must say I’m not a fan of the new look.

I must be colour blind …… it looked like dark blue & gold to me

Edit: upon looking at YouTube clips, it seems the spool is a deep blue but the body black? Confused now? Time e for a beer!😂😎👍

the one I saw wasn't black ….. that's for sure . to be honest I didn't pay too much attention to the body - the spool was definitely blue & gold ….. It might be like a gunmetal grey & not too unlike the 2015 model .
