    Biggera Waters landbased

    Hi All.

I tried a new spot with the family this morning on the outgoing tide. A few just undersize bream and whiting and a couple of keepers (28 & 26cm).

Bait used were servo prawns and yabbies pumped this morning.

    Cheers

Hi,was there much difference in catch / bite rate between the yabbies and the prawns?

    Not all tools are usefull.
Nappies and politicians should be changed regularly for the same reason..

Hi, not sure if it is coincidence or not but the two best whiting were on the live yabbies.

The kids used the prawns and caught at about the same rate.

We arrived about 3 hours before low tide and the inital hour was the best bite when there was a resonable depth of water over the sandy area between the shore and weed.

      Cheers
