my son has a hook4 chirp on his kayak, which is playing up. the downscan works fine, but the sonar page just stays all white, even though depth etc are still displayed. thought it may be something to do with the transducer, but its the same when using the simulator. Has anyone had this problem?
Hey eric how do u rate this model? As like anything electrical laptops, mobile phones, etc... a simply factory reset may fix the problem but im guessing your son will lose gps spots
it's only used as a sounder as he only fishes in creeks, rivers and impoundments, so he doesn't use the gps. he likes it because its nice and small on his kayak!
