    Best Outrigger bases/poles

Anyone got any ideas who leads the field these days in outriggers?
Important for me to have the easiest system I can find and can do the job no problems. Boat will be in the 6 to 6.5 fibreglass class
Was having a look at Bonze Kraken Outriggers from NZ seems a decent easy setup.
    Cheers,

Taco make some flash ones but different mounting. At the price of those kiwi ones, I'd be thinking Reelax in stainless - no corrosion issues with dissimilar bolts.

+1 for Reelax Reef or Oceanblue

What kind of mount are you looking at? Wishbone or through a hardtop? For the cleanest setup, easiest to deploy and no getting in the way if you need to walk around the outside of the cab, I went for the Rupp Top Guns. Absolute delight to use, just twist the grip and then swing them in or out. But not cheap.

Mine isn't designed as a walk around, but you can access the bow around the side of the hardtop if you wish. But it would be near impossible with wishbones. Bear in mind you may need re-inforcing for outriggers bases of any type. They put a very heavy point loading on what they are bolted to. Just being able to deploy from inside the cab without having to hang out the side is gold.
