In hull tranny

Hi all
Looking at a new sounder setup shortly. Want to make sure I get I right.

Would really like 1kw, in hull (not thru hull), with chirp.

What is out there?

all I can really find is a m265. Any one running one of these?
if so, what head unit you running, and how is the performance?

Open to suggestions.

Was in a similar position. I’ve changed from a m260 to a m265 about 6 months ago linked to simrad Nss evo 3 through a S5100. I quite like it and gives good definition without any holes in the hull. The only issue i find is that at speed in high chirp the screen shows a lot of clutter so I find myself changing back to 200 Hertz When travelling and it gives a much better reading (probably can manually fine tune to fix this though). Haven’t been out to deep since I installed but have had clear readings showing fish in 350m. Good unit but has a narrow beam so just depends on what your after. Rob
